TriState Capital Bank Secures Spot on Monitor 100 for Seventh Year Running

TriState Capital Bank has been recognized by Monitor as one of the leading equipment finance companies in the United States for the seventh year in a row, ranking No. 78 on the 2026 Monitor 100 list.

Growth in Loans and Leases

The bank’s Equipment Finance division reported a 5.8% year-over-year increase in total loans and leases in 2025, reaching $749.3 million, up from $708.3 million in 2024. The division generated $288.2 million in new business over the course of the year.

Leadership Commentary

Tim Moriarity, executive vice president and manager of the Equipment Finance group, attributed the division’s continued success to a focus on personalized service and strong client relationships. Moriarity, who launched the division in 2018 out of the bank’s general commercial lending business, said the team remained disciplined in its credit approach and strengthened strategic partnerships throughout 2025.

“Every client has unique financing needs, and our experience, flexibility and relationship-driven approach allow us to structure solutions that help businesses invest confidently, operate more efficiently and achieve their long-term goals,” Moriarity said.

Regional Focus and Expansion

The equipment finance business maintained its momentum in the Northeast and Midwest, with particular emphasis on the Chicago area. The division also continued to serve clients across its broader regional footprint, which includes New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and contiguous states.

Part of a Larger Institution

TriState Capital Bank Equipment Finance operates as a unit of TriState Capital Bank, a financial institution with assets exceeding $20 billion. The group combines specialized industry expertise with the resources of a full-service commercial bank to provide leasing and loan solutions for essential-use equipment, helping businesses improve efficiency and support long-term growth.

Since its inaugural year in 2018, the division has grown its assets from $18.1 million to $749.3 million.

Executive Perspective

TriState Capital Bank Chairman and CEO Brian Fetterolf praised the division’s performance, noting that the team continued to expand client relationships while delivering the expertise and financial strength businesses need to invest in their future.

“Our continued success reflects the strength of our team, the trust our clients place in us and our commitment to delivering consistent value over the long term,” Fetterolf said.
